Changes to USDOT's DBE Program
Effective October 3, 2025, the USDOT published an Interim Final Rule (IFR) requiring immediate changes to the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. USDOT has released FAQs regarding the changes.
UPDATED - An updated DBE FAQ was released on December 1, 2025 with additional guidance.

19th Annual FTA Drug and Alcohol Program National Conference
The 19th Annual FTA Drug and Alcohol Program National Conference will be held on April 14-16, 2026 in Portland, Oregon. The conference offers sessions for Drug and Alcohol Program Managers and transit officials to better understand 49 CFR Part 655 and 49 CFR Part 40.
Registration opens March 2026. For updates, check out the FTA's Drug and Alcohol Program web page.

Tribal Transit Peer Roundtable
National RTAP is hosting a Tribal Transit Peer Roundtable on January 7, 2026 from 2:00-3:00 PM ET. The roundtable will focus on having meaningful discussions and to gather feedback from Tribal Nations.
